We are a small, close-knit Baptist congregation rooted in traditional teachings and a deep love for Christ. Our church family is primarily elderly, but we’re blessed to be welcoming new younger members and are excited about the future. We’re seeking a part-time pastor who can shepherd our flock with wisdom, compassion, and vision—someone who feels called to help us grow spiritually and numerically.
Responsibilities:
• Preach and Teach: Deliver biblically sound sermons each Sunday and lead midweek Bible study.
• Pastoral Care: Visit and minister to members, especially elderly and shut-ins, offering prayer and support.
• Leadership: Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the congregation and church committees.
• Youth Development: Help initiate and grow a youth ministry to engage younger families and children.
• Community Engagement: Represent the church in the local community and encourage outreach efforts
• Administrative Duties: Collaborate with church leadership on planning, budgeting, and vision-casting
Qualifications:
• A clear calling to pastoral ministry and alignment with Baptist doctrine and traditional values.
• Previous pastoral or ministry experience preferred.
• Ability to work part-time and maintain a bi-vocational lifestyle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for both elder care and youth development.
• A heart for church growth and community outreach.
